This beautiful stallion was injured as a 3 year old, and therefore does not have a show record. However, he was showing brilliant talent in his training, and was therefore retained as a stud. We feel confident that he will prove to be a great sire with his athletic prowess and stellar pedigree.

Smart Poco Twister is by the immortal Smart Little Lena, earner of NCHA $743,275, the NCHA #2 Lifetime Leading Sire, and the#12 NRHA Lifetime Leading Sire.

Smart Poco Twister is out of Docs Lady Tama, a great show mare whose credentials include winning the AQHA Congress Jr. Reining, and was a AQHA World Show Top Ten Finalist.

With only a few offspring of show age, Smart Poco Twister has already sired an NRHA Futurity winner. From the few of riding age, he looks to be an outstanding sire, producing beautiful and athletic performers.

In 2004 one of his offspring, Smart Peppy Twist (Smart Poco Twister x Smart Peppy Sunshine), won the Colorado State Fair NRHA Open Futurity with Steve Schwartzenberger in the saddle. In fact, Smart Peppy Twist won both the first and second go on the way to securing the composite and bronze trophy.

Owned by Horst Donner, Smart Poco Twister stands at stud for a fee of $1,000. Shipped semen is available, and Smart Poco Twister is enrolled in the RMRHA Stallion Stakes and the NRHA Sire & Dam Program.
